This one has to be one of my all time favorite VST effects. I can remember when I first found it, I played with it for a good few hours and you probably will too.

I find it works well on drum beats as the video below shows. Glitch has 9 different effects which TapeStop, Modulator, Retrigger, Shuffler, Reverser, Crusher, Gater, Delay and Stretcher. Each effect does what it sounds like it should do and each one can be tweaked to suit you with the controls below each one.

But the real fun comes when all this is combined with the pattern generator at the top of the effect window. The pattern generator allows you to sync up with your chosen DAW and trigger the effects in loops effectively choosing which effect happens at which point in the pattern. This is what sets out Glitch from other VST effects as you can come across some great little clitch effects to add to your loops. Glitch is one of those effects that literally works as a new instrument and we think every serious producer has. With the added feature of the Random pattern generator you will more than likely stumble upon some great little patterns and ideas all by accident.
